We’re really proud to be launching our Healthy Air Campaign film today. Featuring our fantastic campaign ambassador, TV weather presenter Clare Nasir, it calls for stronger action from government to end the public health crisis being caused by air pollution.
More importantly, it tells us about the terrible health impact air pollution is causing the most vulnerable people in our communities and the need for us to spread this message
to our friends, colleagues and family. Until we get the message out there, we won’t get the action we need to cut air pollution.
In fact, a report out last week by a cross-party group of MPs, highly critical of the government’s inaction on air pollution, said that a national public awareness raising campaign is “the single most important action” that can be taken to tackle the public health crisis caused by air pollution.
So that’s why we need your help today.
Please tweet, post, blog and talk to your friends about the Healthy Air Campaign. Share our film with them and get them to sign up too. We have more planned in the
pipeline for next year, and we need plenty of people to get involved.
The film couldn’t have been made with out the fantastic support of James Herbert, Andrew Heathcote and Andy Hix.
